Biography
Katherine Emery was an actress who had a successful Hollywood career. Emery found her beginnings in film with roles in "Eyes in the Night" (1942), the horror feature "Isle of the Dead" (1945) with Boris Karloff and the adventure "The Private Affairs of Bel Ami" (1947) with George Sanders. Emery next focused her career on film, appearing in the Dan Dailey dramatic adaptation "Chicken Every Sunday" (1949), the Bette Davis drama "Payment on Demand" (1951) and "Untamed Frontier" (1952). She also appeared in "The Maze" (1953) with Richard Carlson. Emery was most recently credited in the Kevin Spacey hit animated adventure "A Bug's Life" (1998). Emery passed away in February 1980 at the age of 74.
